Today’s news brings thoughts of alternative currency as the dollar weakens and small loans become unavailable. One of the first few posts I ever added to this blog was about creating local currency so it’s nice to return to this subject. While in some cases local currencies can weaken or isolate a community, in some situations it seems like a useful way to create a more fluid method of bartering among small businesses.
I thought I’d take a shot at creating a currency of my own. Wonder if local coffee shops might give it a try?
